it's so much fun catching up with old friends.

When I heard that my friend J was coming into town for the Thanksgiving holiday, I suggested that we get together for drinks. I had not seen her since February, and prior to that, it had been many many years. As the holiday grew closer, the guest list to our night out grew larger in that the evening developed into a mini high school reunion. There were about 20 of us that met up last night and all had a wonderful time catching up and reminiscing about the past. I hadn't stayed in touch with a lot of people from high school (except the one I married), but I think I will be in contact with a few old friends that I reconnected with last night.
